“Stumbras” is one of the largest manufacturers of spirits in the Baltic States, exporting its products to 42 foreign countries. Factory history dates back to 1906, and some of the products are created using even older unique recipes from the end of XIX century. The producers of “Stumbras” beverages are not afraid of unexpected decisions and strong challenges; hence, the mastery is demonstrated while creating original up-to-date recipes. When the first fruit wine was produced in Alytus state wine factory in 1963, “Alita” story began, and it still continues for more than half a century. Today, “Alita” trademark is usually related to Lithuanian sparkling wine manufacturing; the first Lithuanian sparkling wine was produced in 1980 here, in the factory. Throughout its life, the factory has been growing, improving its manufacturing technology and expanding its product portfolio. Now “Alita” is one of the most modern alcoholic beverage factories in Lithuania, which is most proud of its sparkling wines produced by traditional natural fermentation method. “Anykščių vynas” began its story in 1926, when “B. ir J. Karazijų vaisių vynų dirbtuvė” was opened. The workshop has evolved into a factory – the largest fruit and berry wine manufacturer in the Baltic States. The beverages produced in “Anykščių vynas”, which has almost a hundred year of winemaking traditions, are the result of many years of experience and traditional time-tested recipes; two of the beverages are awarded national heritage certificates. Respect for traditions and modern craftsmanship allow factory experts to create authentic products. Every year Lithuanian fruit and berries turn into not only wine but also cider and juice. “Gubernija” cherishes the oldest brewery traditions in Lithuania. It is believed that “Gubernija” began its story in 1665 at a small manor brewery, where it was already possible to brew beer that well that it was catered to the ruler of Lithuania. The year of 1799 marks the beginning of industrial beer production.
