First Bottlery store opens in Palanga

First Bottlery store opens in Palanga

On Friday (6 May), a new Bottlery store opened in Palanga. It is the Lithuanian retailer’s first store in the town and the first one that will operate in the seaside resort all year round.

The new Bottlery store in Palanga is located close to the centre of the resort, at Vytauto g. 48A, in a new building with a modern design, right next to the beautiful Birutė Park.

The 46.5 m2 store, designed according to the new Bottlery interior concept, will offer visitors a more exclusive and holiday-oriented assortment of gourmet snacks, food products, soft drinks and more.

“The store in Palanga is a continuation of the investment in expanding the Bottlery chain in Lithuania, driven by our customers’ expectations. Although our e-shop serves customers all over Lithuania, visitors to their favourite resorts want to be sure of the availability of their favourite products when they come for a holiday and visit a physical store. Meanwhile, permanent residents also want to have the widest and most varied goods all year round,” says Kristina Ž, Head of Retail and E-Commerce for the Baltics at Bottlery.

Just before Easter, Bottlery also opened its doors in Nida at the start of the warm season. The store opened last year at Taikos g. 3, next to the Neringa Municipality building and will be open seasonally in the resort for the second year in a row. There are also plans to stay open until the beginning of autumn, possibly extending its operations even longer.

The chain is also continuing to invest in the renovation of its stores. This year, the Bottlery store in the Panorama Shopping and Leisure Centre in Vilnius will be renovated to increase the store’s floor space and significantly update the interior to reflect the chain’s latest store concept. The reconstruction of the Vilnius store is scheduled to be completed in autumn. During the reconstruction of the Bottlery store, we will temporarily serve customers from one of the shop counters. We already tested this some time ago during the Christmas sales.

“Despite the rising cost of building materials and high inflation, the Bottlery chain continues to successfully implement its long-term expansion plans and has no plans to adjust them. Based on consistent year-on-year sales growth, we have a solid foundation not only to expand the physical store network but also to invest in the customer experience – ensuring the most convenient and sustainable shopping experience and precise customer service,” says Kristina Ž, Head of Retail and E-Commerce for the Baltics.

Currently, there are 18 physical Bottlery stores of different types in Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Palanga, Nida, Panevėžys and Druskininkai, as well as a convenient online Bottlery store that serves customers throughout Lithuania.
