Lorena Januškevičiūtė, the junior master of Anykščiai Wine, fell in love with cats when she was a teenager when she and her mother raised a tiger-like wild cat Martynas – our colleague has known since then, that she will always want to raise cats. That’s what happened – when she started living independently, Lorena soon acquired her first kitten Bazilis – Bengal breed, which attracted her with his playful character and friendly attitude. “From childhood, I wanted a breeding cat so that we could go to shows together, take part in championships,” says Lorena. That’s what happened – Bazilis was already declared the Lithuanian champion in the first ring. And then it started…
At various shows and championships, Lorena and Bazilis gathered a whole host of awards, and the constant twists and turns among Bengal cat breeders soon inspired Lorena to set up her kennel. Today, three Bengal cats are growing up in Lorena’s house, and the first litter of the kennel “VEGA QUEEN LT” should be born in March.
